2.10 Quick start to your own document

If you want to get started with your own document as quickly as possible, you can follow an abbreviated procedure to get immediate results. The steps are:

1. Write the FrameMaker file to MIF format.

2. Start WebMaker.

3. Include the normals.wml library in the new WML file. (You can include any one or more of the library WML files, but normals.wml is just as good as any.)

4. Generate the web document by using the Webmaker > Make a Web command.

5. Browse the web document.

The result of this procedure is a single web page, with all text having one HTML style. It can be gratifying to get results quickly, but you will want to get better results. For detailed information about converting your documents, see Chapter 6, "Complete Process for Converting Documents".
