2 Quick Start
2.3 Include the appropriate libraries in the WML file
WebMaker provides a set of libraries that contain predefined WebMaker rules. In this step, we include four of the library WML files in our WML file.
- First, in the main window, notice that the view is set to Paragraph Rules. Change the view to the Includes view. The view is the first choice button appearing directly under the menu bar. The main window changes to show the files included in the WML file. At this point, this WML file does not include any libraries.
- To add an include file, choose Edit > New. The main window shows a new include file with a default pathname, such as
/webmaker/lib/my-lib.wml. Note that the library files are stored in the lib subdirectory of your WebMaker directory; the exact path depends on the directory where your WebMaker is installed. Select the new include file in the main window. In the details window, use the Choose button. In the filename dialog, choose the nodes.wml library file.
- Add three more include files. You need to use Edit > New or Edit > Duplicate three times to add three more include files. One by one, select them in the main window, and in the details window, use the Choose button to specify them as
normals.wml, headings.wml, and lists.wml.
- Now, select the Paragraph Rules view. The window changes to show the paragraph rules in the WML file, including the paragraph rules that are defined in the WML files we included.
